[12:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov : la plupart ont été retournés ou abandonnés juste après Noël.
[12:03 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Hm... still see some issues with missing assets
[12:03 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks : Hm... je vois toujours des problèmes avec les assets manquants.
[12:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: oh
[12:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002 : Oh !

Introduction

[12:02 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks : Bonjour, tout le monde.
[12:02 PM PT] Kayaker Magic : Bonjour Andrew !
[12:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002 : Oh !
[12:03 PM PT] Kayaker Magic : Gavin était blanc pendant 3 minutes.
[12:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002 : la migration OSG ?
[12:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: gavin was the normal HG things
[12:03 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Not a good idea to give a pet as a Christmas gift.
[12:04 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: it is a terrible idea
[12:04 PM PT] Selby.Evans @grid.kitely.com:8002: hi everyone
[12:04 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: hi Selby.Evans
[12:04 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: actually I think it is a terrible idea at any time
[12:04 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: welcome
[12:04 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Hi Selby
[12:04 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Hello Selby! And Jagga.
[12:05 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: now andrew is white
[12:05 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: and possible will stay until the assets migration is done
[12:05 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Anybody know what Nebadon is up to? Friend of mine wants to set up a theater like the one in Wright Plaza, did Neb ever give away copies of that "Nebs HTDV" he made?
[12:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: no idea
[12:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: guess lost on something else rl
[12:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: totally left this worlds
[12:06 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: what is special about that HDTV?
[12:07 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: HTDV*
[12:07 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: htdv??
[12:07 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: It has a bunch of buttons displaying categories of movies, I'd like to get that list of URLs, save time searching for them on YouTube.
[12:08 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: ah, ok
[12:08 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: oh andrew did crash?
[12:08 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Yeah, I could not find it searching for HDTV, I wonder if the HTDV spelling is a mistake or done on purpose.
[12:08 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: andrew your textures are missing bc the assets move
[12:08 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: that it still going going goingg...
[12:08 PM PT] Jamie.Jordan @grid.kitely.com:8002: hi everybody
[12:09 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Hi Jamie
[12:09 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: hi
[12:09 PM PT] Selby.Evans @grid.kitely.com:8002: Hi Jamie
[12:09 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: meanwhile the services are having crashes like yesterday
[12:09 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: oh, crashes
[12:09 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but wll that is Osgrid specific things
[12:09 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: liek destructive crashes?
[12:10 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: as oyu know osgrid runs a close source assets service
[12:10 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I did not know it was close sourced, but OK
[12:10 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Yes. I had some beacons turned on in my viewer and I tried to turn them off using a keyboard shortcut and it locked things up. The cursor changed to a rectangle with a four way arrow beside it then I couldn't do anything in the desktop other than switch to a text only console. I had to kill my desktop session.
[12:10 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: also recently changed to still another one
[12:11 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so had more crashes :)
[12:11 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: beta testing in production is always fun
[12:11 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: yeah
[12:12 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Has anyone heard how much longer the osgrid asset migration process may take?
[12:12 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: about opensim, not much news
[12:12 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: basicly no code changes during last week
[12:12 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: let me check
[12:12 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: I have questions about what "top scripts" displays. I've noticed those numbers go up and up the longer a region is running.
[12:13 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: hmm a retune on what things get in viewers cache
[12:13 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: change was that now region waits 15mins since last change, instead or one hour
[12:13 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: does the script time for the region increase accrordingly too?
[12:14 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: I think so.
[12:14 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: .. some code change to improve locking of one code area
[12:15 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: old scripts not getting terminated properly?
[12:15 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: and the xml change Ubit
[12:15 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: .. did let region getassets give a asset to viewer even when the asset type viewer did ask does not match
[12:16 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: No, I restart a region and look at scripts I want to optimize, I see a small number. I come back days later and see a number order of magnitude higher.
[12:16 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: xml change??
[12:16 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: wasn't that the other week?
[12:17 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: https://bitbucket.org/opensimulator/opensim/commits/a0e039e8764b14abfbc80d7e0f685ec2c20ac176
[12:17 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: .. added back a auxiliar function to set a http response as a redirection response
[12:17 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Kayaker, which viewer are you using?
[12:18 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: oh those where already last week
[12:18 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Sorry, it was on libopenmetaverse
[12:18 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: https://bitbucket.org/opensimulator/libopenmetaverse/commits/e717580a68b47b19b6a20204865b832716314c29
[12:18 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but yes did added explicty xml DtdProcessing.Ignore
[12:19 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: because MS in its wisdowm did set it as parse, opening xml to exploits
[12:19 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: looked like in the old days when you got noise on the phone line with a modem session
[12:19 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: i fear MS was better before the crap opensource on .net framework
[12:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: whatever
[12:20 PM PT] Jagga Meredith: /
[12:20 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: I have my alt looking at top scripts on a region that has been up for a while. A wandering critter has a time of 2,862,082 the total is 6,619,306.500 ms. Why do these numbers keep growing with time?
[12:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: gavin was both on main opensim and some of the libs
[12:20 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: That sounds like overall runtime.
[12:21 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: right Ubit, I see that now
[12:21 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: script time currently do keep growing
[12:21 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: they are full run time, currently
[12:22 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: not that easy for us to do them like a average per a particular period, like is at sl
[12:22 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: well by easy i mean withou silly waste or memory and cpu
[12:22 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Is that runtime calculation a server or a viewer chante? It used to be calculated different.
[12:22 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: calculation a server or a viewer chante ???
[12:23 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Is that overall runtime in addition to the runtime stats that used to be shown? Some number that keeps increasing over time won't be helpful in tracking down bad scripts.
[12:23 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: the change is when changing to YEngine
[12:23 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: X does as before, whatever that was
[12:24 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so as i said, for now Y does display acumulated cpu time per script
[12:24 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: The region I am looking at has been up for over a month.
[12:25 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: (With scripts running and no crashes! Dang this software is working well lately, THANK YOU GUYS!)
[12:26 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: hm... I thought YEngine used to show a more useful runtime number.
[12:26 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I can't remeber when a region crashed the last time
[12:26 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: i do :p
[12:26 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: coff coff cofff
[12:26 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: :)
[12:27 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: I suppose I can divide all the script times by the total time and watch the percentage while looking for bad scripts.
[12:27 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: you do it on purpose
[12:27 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: :)
[12:28 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: I think I had finally tracked down a bad script that had a high runtime in XEngine and was going to compare its runtime numbers against YeNgine. I won't be able to do that now.
[12:28 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: think X was using a buggy and heavy thing
[12:28 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: that just makes no sense
[12:28 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: i need to cook some simpler thing
[12:29 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but then it will not actually be a "time"
[12:29 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: How was the "time" calculated in XEngine?
[12:29 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: life for sl is a lot easier.. since they do run things per frame, including script parts
[12:30 PM PT] Jagga Meredith: \
[12:30 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so easy to tell this kayaker script used 10ms on this frame
[12:30 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: :)
[12:31 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: as you know opensim concept of "frame" is very relative
[12:31 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: sliding window?
[12:31 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: we to have a heartbeat.. some things do run on it,..
[12:31 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but most are just async..
[12:32 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: scripts are totally assync ( somethinga actually not that good .:)
[12:33 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: that is not full the case on most game engines
[12:33 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: their scropts do have events called at several points of a frama
[12:33 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: frame..
[12:33 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: and all must be done in sequence..
[12:34 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so everything has time coerence
[12:34 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: on opensim.. we can only home time does not slide 2 much
[12:34 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: well, game engines don't have users randomly dumping scripts int them
[12:34 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: only hope..
[12:34 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: into*
[12:34 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: oh they do
[12:35 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but their users are game devs :)
[12:35 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: if they do it wrong.. no game to sell :p
[12:35 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: end users*
[12:35 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: I that explains the timing issue I see in a KFM object.
[12:35 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: s/I that/I think that/
[12:36 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: 7as you know opensim went the sliiy and broke idea of one thread for everything
[12:36 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: and broken
[12:36 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: no sincronization ever..
[12:37 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: sure that kinda works.. on very low loads
[12:37 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: makes it "organic"
[12:38 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: :)
[12:40 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: yes andrew a kinf of slide window
[12:40 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: per script...
[12:40 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: insane
[12:40 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ill try to change that to a time based decay
[12:41 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: as i did where we had slide windowsn
[12:41 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: Hey all, sorry I'm so late. Disaster relief shelters a bit crowded today
[12:41 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: If there is a function or variable that can be used to know the passage of execution time it could be used to determine how much real time has passed since the last time a block of code was executed and the code could compensate for any slippage.
[12:41 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Hi Michael
[12:41 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: This gets in to some of the deep innards I usually try to avoid diving in to. :)
[12:41 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Hello, Michael.
[12:42 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: I recall the old algorithm had some sampling errors.
[12:42 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: the x one was also bad
[12:42 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: and heavy as i said
[12:42 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: I'm getting ready to have to dive into that deep end andrew
[12:43 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: for example on users time on parcel i just use a simple decay
[12:43 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Michael, Make sure you have a buddy with you when you go diving. ;)
[12:44 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: that makes the number do as more or less as the voltage on a resistor flitered by a capacitor
[12:44 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: or a first order FIR filter
[12:44 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: On another issue, I recall Ubit saying something about adding or moving some XEngine INI parameters into the [YEngine] section, or creating a new section for common settings. How does that relate to the [ODEPhysicsSettings] section?
[12:44 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: once we get all the new dev. hardware in I'm going to try again to map the innards in case we have to re-write it almost all for Oculus access.
[12:45 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: for the release i just did duplicated the needed ones under Y
[12:45 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: wlel that means each can have own value
[12:46 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Oculus? – You mean that thing sold by the Worst Company of 2021™
[12:46 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: yea that one
[12:46 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: What is the [ODEPhysicsSettings]? Are those still read by both X and Y?
[12:46 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: :)
[12:46 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: in case of ODE; ubOde just has no settings
[12:46 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: only reads one or two fo all that mess
[12:47 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: its picking up popularity some, and I don't want kids to buy one and think THATS the metaverse
[12:47 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: most ode settings should had never been settings at all
[12:47 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: bc some are values that depend on the stepsize, mass etc
[12:47 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I thought their most recent device would require a login to Meta to work at all?
[12:47 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: far from options..
[12:48 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: right now you have to log in with a facebook account if you dont have a developer account, but they are supposed to be working on the capacity to have an oculus-specific account that isnt tied to your facebook
[12:48 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: oculus was sold in 2014 no?
[12:48 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: tied to your facebook...
[12:49 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: friends don't let frends log in to facebook
[12:49 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: the first one? might have even been before that, feels like I've had my DK2 forever
[12:49 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: :)
[12:49 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: rofl@gavin
[12:49 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: what is the problem of log into facebook?? others force us to log on google
[12:49 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: same thing..
[12:50 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: I have never logged in to google
[12:50 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: never will
[12:50 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: I have no interest in Facebook. If I wanted to use a headset I wouldn't want to be forced to create a Facebook account in order to use it.
[12:50 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: its a privacy issue for some people - facebook privacy settings can be hard for the average user to understand.
[12:51 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: well the guy owns both.. makes sense he wants a single login
[12:51 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: and andrew - exactly, and why they are working on making an alternate login work, because of those complaints
[12:52 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: sort of like an SL alt.
[12:52 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: and facebook is like your psychiatrist knows all abotu you..
[12:52 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: If you use a program that supports a headset why would you still need to log in to the website of the headset maker?
[12:52 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: LL knows all about both
[12:52 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: and the sum might be pretty scary for some
[12:52 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: it lets you share screenshots or videos to facebook friends or groups
[12:53 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: also lets you find and connect to friends easier
[12:53 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: That should be optional.
[12:53 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: i can see the benefots they push, but theres also the downsides they dont talk about
[12:53 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ive no major issue with that
[12:53 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: exactly andrew
[12:53 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: in fact have more with unrelated things using google
[12:53 PM PT] Jamie.Jordan @grid.kitely.com:8002: I have 2 pair and I hate the facebook reqirement
[12:53 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: or ms
[12:54 PM PT] Selby.Evans @grid.kitely.com:8002: FB has its methods for using its users
[12:54 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: sadly all do Selby.Evans
[12:54 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: all learning from fb
[12:54 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: exploiting its users you mean Selby
[12:54 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: unfortunately :/
[12:54 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: or google
[12:54 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: GaAvin, :)
[12:55 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: I can see requiring a dedicated login to the device for access to the store and your purchased media, but facebook link really needs to be separate and optional
[12:55 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Michael, yes
[12:55 PM PT] Jamie.Jordan @grid.kitely.com:8002: the answer to all your questions is money
[12:55 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: they consider it all part of the new Meta
[12:56 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: games are just part of Meta
[12:56 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: you didn't seen his lecture on meta?
[12:56 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: but if we can get the sim-on-a-stick fork to run on the oculus, then the vive, then the hololens, - ubit, yes I did, thats why i re-wrote my presentation almost entirely lol
[12:56 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: with a anorectic avatar
[12:57 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: there is a firestorm fork that runs on oculus
[12:57 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: and oversize head
[12:57 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: Ai Austin mentions it on his blog
[12:57 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: I got sent a job listing from meta for a product director position, apparently 7 alumni from the school i started a fraternity at work there and referred me...so I have a good idea who brought us to Mark's attention
[12:58 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: opensim can just be the backend also for googles things
[12:58 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: We are three minutes to the top of the hour. Any other questions related to OpenSim? How about you, Michael as you came in part way through this meeting.
[12:58 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: ubit - thank you!!! I somehow completely missed that in all my searches!
[12:58 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: again that is a viewer side
[12:58 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: ubit just gave me my next week's homework lol
[12:58 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: hmm? michael.Christopher ?
[12:58 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: firestorm for oculus
[12:58 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ahh
[12:58 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ok
[12:59 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: maria also mentions it on hypergridbusiness
[12:59 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: had some issue with a missing vc runtime file
[12:59 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: that should make it easy to find
[12:59 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: ahh ok so i do have that note somewhere, just didnt realize it as firestorm
[1:00 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: https://www.hypergridbusiness.com/2021/10/oculus-quest-2-setup-is-super-easy/
[1:00 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: thats maria testing oculus
[1:01 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: links to the firestorm fork there also
[1:01 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: thank you
[1:01 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Then, there’s something called the Firestorm VR Mod, and the latest download link is here. Unfortunately, I get an error when I try to run it.
[1:01 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: was that the testing
[1:02 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: if our opensim worlds are 3d on a 2d surface or on 3d headsets, is a viewer side thing
[1:02 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: makes sense
[1:02 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: yes
[1:02 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: our worlds are 3d entities
[1:02 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: the problem is generating the required fps to avoid seasickness
[1:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: LL claims the renderer is incapable of that
[1:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: yes.. that is a current issue
[1:03 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: and thats a function of the hardware.... this is going to be ... fun to work on
[1:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: viewers fps are just very low to prevent sickness on headsets
[1:03 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: well, maybe for super simple scenes
[1:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: unless regions are very simple
[1:03 PM PT] Jagga Meredith: gravol works against seasickness
[1:03 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: But look to some solutions out there
[1:04 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: some of those for headsets only allow very simple objects
[1:04 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: gravol or gravøl?
[1:04 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Gavin, gravol.
[1:04 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Gavinol
[1:04 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: if you follow their mesh complexity restrictions etc, opensim firestorm will have the needed fps
[1:04 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: gravøl means funeral party in Norwegian
[1:04 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: hmm forgot the system where i seen that
[1:05 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: just where only every simple mesh
[1:05 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: outch funeral?
[1:05 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: yes
[1:05 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: who are ww going to sacrifice to Meta Gods?
[1:06 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: :-)
[1:06 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: Zuck maybe...
[1:06 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: I've got some ideas churning, I'll see if the new dev. systems with the right graphics cards come in this week.
[1:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: :)
[1:06 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: rofl
[1:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: they are making silicon things again?
[1:06 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: with covid going up everywhere?
[1:07 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: yea
[1:07 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ( well covid was a excuse fr great speculation profits imo.. but details )
[1:07 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: at least they are offering free silicon covers for the foam when we bought all ours
[1:08 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: think not same silicon lol
[1:08 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: I just remembered there is an LSL function for getting amount of time that passed since the function was last called. I'll dig in to that to see how it works. It may be useful elsewhere.
[1:09 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: by silicon i did mean the element Si
[1:09 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: oh oops lol
[1:09 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: currently used on most electronics
[1:10 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: think some call silicone silicon also :p
[1:10 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: a bit diferent uses :)
[1:10 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: here at least yea
[1:12 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: pretty sure apple is using it in their new processor line
[1:12 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: all do
[1:13 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: it is the main semiconductor in high integration electronics..
[1:13 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: by far
[1:13 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: but that is apple silicone - it cost twice as much
[1:13 PM PT] Selby.Evans @grid.kitely.com:8002: Must go -- bye all.
[1:14 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: cya Selby.Evans
[1:14 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: See yiou next year selby
[1:14 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: happy new 2022
[1:14 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: bye !
[1:14 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: ohm, yea - that wil hit before we meet again - happy new years all!
[1:14 PM PT]  Ubit Umarov: 12:13:49 - [GETASSET]: asset with wrong type: 00000000-38f9-1111-024e-222222111120 5 != 13
[1:14 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: i removed this restriction
[1:15 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: Yup. This is the last meeting of the year. :) Let's hope that Covid gets under control in 2022.
[1:15 PM PT] Jamie.Jordan @grid.kitely.com:8002: have a great week yall
[1:15 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: we had those types all broken in past
[1:15 PM PT] Michael.Christopher @cc.opensimulator.org:8002: yes
[1:15 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so i removed that check
[1:16 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ( that is type clothing been asked as body part asset )
[1:16 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: think ruth pants even
[1:17 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: type as in sock, undershirt etc?
[1:17 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: type clothes are those yes
[1:17 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: so if I want to wear a sock on my head, it will now give me the asset?
[1:17 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: up to universal wearable now
[1:17 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: but we have a mess like that some how
[1:18 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: pants stored as body parts
[1:19 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: well i removed that check , it was refusing to give the asset
[1:19 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: not is just a warning on log
[1:19 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: now..
[1:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so all ready fro the new year?
[1:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: ready or not it will catch you all :p
[1:20 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: :)
[1:20 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: it will come ready or not
[1:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: yeah
[1:20 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: so you know.. less hair.. more belly.. things like that :p
[1:21 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Gota run.
[1:21 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Bye all!
[1:21 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: happy new year
[1:21 PM PT] Ubit Umarov: bye
[1:21 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: ok, Kayaker. See you in the new year.
[1:21 PM PT] Gavin.Hird @grid.xmir.org:8002: next year Kayaker
[1:21 PM PT] Kayaker Magic: Merry New Year!
[1:22 PM PT] Andrew Hellershanks: On that note, I'll call this last meeting of the year to a close. I wish you all happy and safe new year. Thank you all for coming. See you in 2022.
